Gordons Bay Property - Houses - Real Estate For Sale

Gordon's Bay property offers coastal village living at the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, and is the smallest of the three towns in the Helderberg area. The new harbour is situated in popular Harbour Island, and also boasts a slipway and many restaurants and shops. This is an ideal spot to sit back, and enjoy the scenery and sunsets with friends and family.

Gordon's Bay is only a 50 minute drive to Cape Town centre and 40 minutes away from Cape Town International Airport.

Gordon's Bay is famous for fishing from the rocks or the old harbour wall.  Luxury yachts, boat trips and cruises are available from both harbours. Crystal pools are just outside of Gordon's Bay, on your way to Hermanus, and here you can enjoy your picnic basket and have a swim in one of the magnificent pools.

In September and October it is whale season and you can see how they flock together from the different lookout points along the road to Pringle Bay.

Gordon's Bay is a very safe place to swim, at both beaches - the main beach and Bikini beach.

The area has a caravan park which hosts chalets and tent sites, and a super tube for the kids.  There are many restaurants to pick from along the Main road, Beach Road and Bikini beach.

Kogelbay is just outside Gordon's Bay and one of the more popular surf sites, together with picnic spots and braai facilities.  Gordon's Bay is definitely one of the places to indulge in water sports like jet skiing, water skiing, rubber ducking and fishing.  Gordon's Bay now also has its own 9-hole golf course and was recently opened to members and also provides a clubhouse.
